On Thursday night, I had my last huge fraterninty event before initiation this weekend...it was a MUSICALE. The four of us pledgees had to plan this huge event and make formal invites and everything. Two of us played piano pieces, I sang a duet, and Niki sang a solo...we had about 20 people in attendance and it was one of the better musicales in the past few years! We also had to make get food and have a little reception afterward. It was a lot of fun...but a huge relief off my shoulders. I just can't wait until I am in the frat becuase this is the hardest and BUSIEST part of everything!

Also, the weather has been beautiful all week up until today, so I have been procrastinationg and sitting out in the plaza getting a natural suntan! I love it! The hardest part is the people-watching part...that is one thing I've picked up from my dad over the years...but I just love it.
Last night I had my spring concert and it was a really great night! Then Chels and I went and hung out with some friends since our weekends are cutting short. Here are a few pictures from last night...

Now today was another crazy day...a few of my friends participated in the 1ts Annual SMU Iron Chef competition and we grilled out...yes in the rain, and made burgers and shish-kabobs, and potato fries, and those apple cresant dumplings. Although we did not win, all of our food was gone...so I guess that is a plus!
THIS NEXT WEEK...is going to be INSANE! Next weekend we have two performances in Lacrosse with the symphony and everything, so in preparation, we have three rehearsals out there this week: Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday...and the Friday and Saturday for the concerts. Can you say time consuming and lots of driving...not to mention we have to leave here at 5:45PM and the rehearsals go unitl 10PM...not getting back until a little before 11...it will be an exhausiting week and then Finals week after that! Man I can't believe how fact this year fleww by and I have mixed emotions about leaving for the summer...I am definitly going to miss everyone!
Then on Sunday is my initiation into the FRAT! Yeah...I can't wait until it is all over!
Well that is about it for now...but I will try to keep doing this throughout the week
And, I am oficially a Gilmore Girl...meaning I got the dorm I wanted for next year and I am already making decorating plans and everything!
