Well it turns out since my last posting, Blogger has become more user-friendly, can load more than 5 photos at a time and I can position them where ever I want! How fun! I know I always say I will post soon, but maybe with how easy it has become, it is more enticing to do it more often!
So a little over a month has passed, and all I can say is life is great! My final semester of college is breezing by and less stressful than past semesters. Even though I only have 14 credits, I feel just as busy, but a good busy!
Counting everyday from now until Graduation, I only have 44 days left! Holy cow! I remember thinking, wow, I have four years of college. Although I am excited to turn the pages to the next chapter of my life, I know at some point I will want to go back and re-read them; whether that be reminisce about memories made, or even have occasional get togethers with college friends.
At this point, 44 days from graduation, I am just about finishing up writing my thesis, which I never thought I would say "I love it!" I have chosen a very fun topic and I am already on page 32, so I'd say it was a great project choice. I am finally understanding math concepts that I was taught in prior classes because I am applying them to something real life, and something I enjoy. In addition to my thesis, I am preparing to turn the tables over to a new President of the Music Frat. Although I am bittersweet about this, I think it will be great to let someone else take charge. The installation of the new officers is this coming Sunday, April1st. From here on out, I will finish up the end of the year paperwork for my role, and be a mentor, guiding the new President. As far as my job, I have 3 more duty nights to go! Seriously, the time sure flies. With every weekend until graduation booked with some event, I know graduation will be here before I know it. I am not ready to say goodbye to my friends and put behind the last four years of my life.
Here are some pictures of some past months events. About a month ago, Mike, my roommate Amanda and her fiance, and I decided to go to LaCrosse and make a day out of it! We started out by going to Grandad Bluff, followed by going to see the movie "This Means War," followed by attempting to have a brewery tour but arriving too late, to looking at books in Barnes and Noble, and then ending our evening with a delicious dinner at Olive Garden!
We decided to climb to an area that people usually don't climb to! So risky!
The boys were the first to venture out, but once I made it out there, we had to take lots of pictures!
"Lookin' Fly"
And of course, typical me and Amanda getting into some crazy location!
And then doing a symmetrical pose! I don't know what I will do without her!
Two weekends ago was SMU's annual Relay For Life! It was another great experience to have my parents join me and celebrate my mom's life and honor those who fought for their lives when God had another plan for them. This year we had a team comprised of Friends, so it was only fitting to have a the friends logo.

Here is the logo I designed for our t-shirts using the FRIENDS theme font!
And finally last weekend was SMU's annual Taylor Richmond Benefit Dance on campus! I was so lucky to have Mike come down this year! Don't we look amazing! He is all about matching his ties to my dress!

Lets just say in the last three months, I bought 4 new dresses for all my weddings and such coming up... so far my list of summer weddings is up to 6! Crazy!
Us crazy girls per usual! I am going to miss these girls!
Oh and then there is me!
And the roommates reunite! Katie came back for the dance!
Amanda and I! My best friend and roomie! Earlier this month, she asked me to be the Maid of Honor in her wedding in September 2013! So honored!
I always seem to write more than I anticipate, but I hope you all enjoy my post!
As far as an update on Career Searches, I have had a few phone interviews and personal interviews and I continue to wait for results. It is a definite waiting game, but I am so thankful for networking and that I am actually getting responses to applications. My goal has been to apply for one job a week, and I am sticking to it! It is quite the search, but I confident the right job will come around even if it is a matter of time!
Thanks for the constant support and checking my updates! Please say an extra prayer for me next Wednesday as I will be having surgery to remove a ganglion cyst on my dominate hand. Pray for a speedy recovery so the rest of my semester goes smoothly!
