Preparation

Life is full of prepartion, but at the same time, one must be ready to face the real world! As I start getting ready for COLLEGE I consider all the things that I am preparing for... I am preparing to leave behind some of the past, preparing to start new adventures, preparing to live on my own in a completely different place, and preparing to be an individual.

At this point, I am both excited, yet apprehensive about leaving for school. I only have three more days at home and it is starting to hit me. I am not good with goodbyes... so this is merely an "Adios" and "I will see you when I see you." I am looking foward to meeting new people, living on my own, and making my own decisions...but I don't think I am quite ready to leave what I call HOME. I always hear that the grass is greener on the otherside, but what side am I truely on?

As I sit here writing this post, I am looking at all my clothes sitting in piles, checking off all the lists of things I need to do, and remembering how little of time I have to complete all this. I can't believe this day of moving off as a freshman has finally come.

I hope that this blog will be helpful for all of you, my family and friends, to follow what is going on in a day in the life of Heidi. I hope to post lots of pictures and exciting things that happen at school.
