After a 5 hour (almost consecutive) drive on the road, we ate dinner at the "Y" in Garrison with my parents and Bruce and Jackie. It was a good change compared to the cafeteria food that I have been slowly getting immune to =)
On Saturday I got to rest alot, do some hard Calculus work, and see the new and improved updates at the cabin! My mom and dad have been working so hard up there the past two months that it was fun to see the changes! I also got to drive my dad's tractor and see the new hay wagon he built.
After the long weekend, we went home and the Loeffler's came over and we had Chinese and cake to celebrate Cassie's SWEET SIXTEEN! It was so fun to see the girls and Uncle John and Auntie Shelly beucase when I am not at home, I am usually found there! I look foward to seeing them again this weekend at the cabin for MEA. I always have lots of fun stories to share with them!
On Monday, I got to go up to the Boldischar's to visit with Auntie Meredith and the kids. It is amazing how much people can grow in 2 months. I got to spend the afternoon up there playing games with the girls, watching a movie with Pauly and Gabriella, and holding Georgie when he warmed up to me! Then I went shopping for some winter apperal becuase it gets mighty cold here in Winona!
On Tuesday I got to go visit my high school and visit with my favorite choir teacher, Lausche, as well as Maz, Judy, and Tryzinka! It was so fun to go back and share my college experiences and see them for old times sake!
As much as I enjoyed my visit back in Maple Grove, I was extatic to get back to SMU! I missed all my friends and my dorm!
Sorry for such a long time since the last post, but it gets crazy around here, expecially becuase last week was mid term (YES! I am 1/4 done with my Freshman year in college!) Anyway, I hope to post again soon after this weekend!
