So on Monday night, part of my "summer group"got together for Taco Night. These are the friends that I have known since sophomore year. We are the ones who take up the front section of grass at Movies In The Park and go to Monday night 75 cent tacos at Acupolco. So for old time sake...seven of us went to Monday night tacos! They were oh so delicious. That was a good start to the day (which was already 7 oclock at night) after doing basically nothing after my PT appointment.
After tacos, everyone came back to our house to watch the Packers lose to the Bears. What a shame. It was definitly fun to catch up on old times with the friends and reunite after being away for an entire semester =)
Today, my friends Eric, Megan, Jeremy, and I went to the Mall of America. We were disappointed that none of us brought cameras...beucase we would have had some great pictures to put up on the blog. We started out our day with lunch at the Panda Express...from there we went and played mini-golf. The boys really wanted to play so they bought Megan and I a game. It was alot of fun beucase minigolfing can be quite entertaining with the way the course is set up! At one point I was crawling on the green through some tunnel. Oh and us girls got to have as many mulligans as we wanted...it was great! My game wasn't really "up to par" (haha...great pun Heidi!). Eric said that whoever made a HOLE IN ONE would buy a round of drinks for everyone. He was the only one who did that (well actually I did after 2 retries...but it didn't really count), so he bought us all orange julius' and they were fabulous!
Some of the shops during our excursion included: Verizon Wireless, Oakley, Game Stop, Victoria Secret, Sephora, and a little kiosk where we all bought sunglass while the salesman told us stories about people who smuggled his sunglasses right from the booth. He sure was a character.
Well those were two great days with the friends and it definitly was a lot of fun. It has been years since I have been to the mall.
Well I am off to bed becuase I have a busy day ahead of me. Making cinnamon rolls, PT, opening family gifts, Chinese dinner, and ending with a party at Susan and Dennis.' I will take lots of pictures and be sure to post them on here as the week goes on!
