One Down...Two to Go!

I can't believe one week of my break is OVER...now only two left before I go back, and I am sure they will fly by just as fast!

Last Sunday was my 19th Birthday. I was able to come home on my birthday becuase I finished my stressful finals on Saturday and was ready to get home. Finals went well...and with the looks of my grades I am very pleased with first semester. After a long and lonly ride home, we celebrated my birthday with a chinese dinner with the Loefflers, and ice cream cake to follow with the gradparents and Auntie Michelle and Uncle Don. It was fun to talk and share stories. We ended our evening with arm wrestling...I would like to say how proud I was to beat Cassie and Auntie Shelly...but when it came to my mom...she sure has some guns! Then my dad and Uncle John decided to do it for old times sake...and the pictures are definitly worth a thousand words.

The epic "cake-holding"pose!

I blew all 19 out at once!

And the competition begins

And the WINNER is...well you can see for yourselves...

On Monday I went to the dentist to get my FIRST EVER CAVITY filled. I was so nervous for the novicane and everything...but it was quick and painless...I was still disappointed that I let Dr. Joiner down...after 19 years...and my first cavity. Later that day I went to the doctor to have my back x-rayed after constant pain for seven months. My bones looked good, but the muscles around my bones are very tense and trying to work extra hard after a previous injury...so as a result, I have to go to physical therapy before I go back to school to try and un-train the muscles so they go back to normal (I don;t even remember what normal feels like)!

Throughout the week I continued to go Christmas shopping and wrapping all my gifts. I just love to buy people presents...but don't necessarily care for any in return. I can't wait until Christmas to see how everyone enjoys their gifts =)

On Thursday I went to my high school's holiday choir concert with Motet (the chamber group I sang with for 3 years). It was so much fun to listen as an audience member, but it made me want to be right up there with them. After the concert we went out to Applebees to catch up on stories and what I have missed out on...or not!

On Friday, my dad and I went up north for the maiden snowmobile trip with Barry, Diane, and Dennis. It was a lot of fun bar hopping (yes, we went to three) on Friday night and getting out on the powdery fresh snow. It was quite the adjustment for me though beucase I am now driving my mom's old sled, which is bigger, and I can't do my fun tricks...I definitly have the need for speed...and this sled makes me more cautious...and I drive slower =( I even got stuck and my sled tipped over...bummer!

We then woke up to a white day of snow! I believe it snowed at least 6 inches before we left on Saturday afternoon. I can't wait to go up there and play in the snow some more...it makes me feel like a little girl again!

Yesterday, we went to the Yellowtree Theater to see their Christmas Show...which was fabulous so if you are in for a holiday comedy, they have four performances left! After that, my cousin Ashley convinced me to go with her to get our cartilage pierced...so that is exactly what we did...I am currently at six piercings and plan to keep it that way for awhile.

Well, Happy Reading and I hope to blog again after Christmas and update on how my physical therapy is going!
