Wow, time sure flies by soooooo FAST! I can't believe that I have been back from break for a week now, and that it is almost March! UNBELIEVEABLE.
Last weekend Chelsea and I went out to Stout and had a blast. It was a lot of fun getting hang out with Travis and meeting lots of people. I can't believe how many random guys just came up and talked to us at the hockey games. I wasn't sure what to think of all the action =) During the weekend I was able to watch Travis Cheer and Stunt. It is amazing to watch him do his thing and wonder where he learned all that! We also went to two Stout hockey games. They are in the playoffs and won both games against Eau Claire. Chelsea and I went to every hockey game at St. Mary's, but I'm sure that I can speak for both of us when I say we have never had that much fun at any of our games. It is like back in highschool where you tailgate and have a bonfire and whatnot...then inside the arena is just a riot...everyone cheering and just enjoying themselves! I am ready to jump in the car and go out there tomorrow just to watch the hockey game again...it was that much FUN...and a chance to get away.
This past week since being back has been a rollercoaster. I have been overwhelmed with the idea that mid-semester is already next week and I don't even want to guess what my grades are. This semester is definitly a challenge and giving me a run for my money...literally all the money I am paying for each credit. I have so much homework and studying that I do...but it doesn't always seem to show. Today I just signed up with two new advisors in both the math and spanish departments to help me along the next four years. Another thing that has also been on my mind is that I am considering studying abroad next year, so planning for classes is kind of difficult because I have to fit everything in in order to complete my major on time...thus, I am looking into taking summer classes, but that schedule is not posted yet. Also, housing registration will be coming up, so I have to decide on where I am rooming next year and that can be a dramatic situation all in itself...ugh.
Next, BOYS, BOYS, and more BOYS...what do I do about them? This past week multiple random guys from my past have been telling me how they feel about me and that they want to take me out on dates...this is all too much for me when I am trying to focus on school. I almost considered giving them up for Lent, but I didn't really know how that would work out... I have decided that I just want to meet new people and see what I really want for myself...I am just a freshman, so I have plenty of years to come!
Last night I had my first training for the Sigma Alpha Iota Fraternity....in preparation for the national exam in a month....Whew is that overwelming as well. There is so much I learned last night and that is only the first out of six sessions...this is definitly going to be a big committement, but I am excited to meet neew people and be officailly involved on campus!
Well that is about it for now. I am in the process of deciding what to do this weekend...I just hope it doesn't snow again. Yesterday we had a mixture of hail, thunder, lightening, and 4 inches of snow...NO MORE OF THAT!
I hope everyone has great weekends and I will do my best to post despite my busy schedule!
