Broke My Promise

So it appears that I broke my promise about keeping this up to date, but it seems time has just been flying by. I didn't realize I had so many readers according to my mom, so Happy Reading!

As most of you would figure out, I completed my second year at St. Mary's and I obtain 2nd semester Junior status. I can't believe how fast the year went by and I had so much to do toward the end of the year in addition to my finals.

I have been doing alot of planning this for the past few months for my Study Abroad to Spain. There was so much more to it than I had imagined, but things are finally getting squared away. It is going to be quite an adventure. I will be traveling with a guy I met from St. Thomas University who will be attending the same school as I. We will be driving out to Chicago next week to apply for our Visas and then have to go and pick them up in a couple of months. We plan to fly together to Spain and then do lots of traveling on weekends while we are there. It will be super exciting, but quite a different lifestyle. While there I will be taking 18 credits in Spanish and living with a host family. I am promised a fan in my small room as the tempuratures may sky-rocket to 105 degrees. I am really looking foward to what Spain has to offer. I will finish my Spanish major while I am there and that might help me decide what I want to do someday!

This summer is also busy once again. I am working full time for Wiley's and spending the rest of my time at the gym. I got a good deal on a summer membership and I thought it would make me feel better. I have been batteling allergies (so they say), but I beg to differ, so I am hoping to exercise all the toxins out. This week movies in the park start this week as well as the concerts, so that will start to consume more of my life every Tuesday. I am also in charge of selling tickets again this year for the August Lorie Line concert. This summer is going to be full of activity and will go by really fast, but a change as well. Most of my good friends graduated from college this year, so they are going elsewhere with there lives, so I have been doind alot with other friends I have met from college, including a date here and there =)

Well that is about it for now, and I will keep you updated as Spain rolls along!
